Intermec PartnerNet – capitalizing on your Intermec business

Announced at the global Intermec Partner Summit just a few weeks ago, we are delighted to unveil our new and exciting Partner Program – PartnerNet.

The Intermec PartnerNet Program is comprised of a worldwide community of innovative, highly skilled businesses dedicated to delivering high-value solutions for the benefit of customers. The partnership and spirit of collaboration we enjoy with our Partners is globally recognized by customers who have been provided with the best possible data collection, mobile computing and RFID solutions in the market today. In addition, PartnerNet Members demonstrate loyalty and commitment to the relationship through revenue achievement and consistent cooperation with Intermec on opportunities.

Membership of the PartnerNet Program brings a range of sales support, marketing, financial and training benefits (depending on membership level) and recognizes the commitment that partners make in their relationship with Intermec.

PartnerNet Program Levels and Categories

As announced at the Intermec Partner Summit, Intermec’s PartnerNet Programme incorporates three membership levels to reflect varying degrees of partner capability and commitment:

  • Silver Partner is the gateway into the PartnerNet Program, and provides resources and benefits intended to support Partners who are new to Intermec or the industry.
  • Gold Partner status is granted to Members who have increased their technical and business knowledge of Intermec products and services and have achieved target revenue thresholds.
  • Platinum Partner is the highest level of recognition given to Members who consistently demonstrate their commitment to Intermec, prove their sales, technical and support capabilities to deliver Intermec solutions, and maintain the highest level of revenue performance.

Partner Categories

Intermec embraces all types of partners creating demand for, influencing and delivering solutions that align with Intermec products and services. These include:

Mobile Solution - Software and/or integration services providers with businesses primarily focused on data collection solutions. An Intermec Mobile Solution Partner fully understands and supports applications which exist in Intermec’s chosen target market spaces of Transport and Logistics, Consumer Packaged Goods, Retail and Industrial.

Printer/Media - Printing solution providers primarily focused on thermal barcode and RFID printers, as well as media products including ribbons and label stock. An Intermec Printer/Media partner fully understands and supports both the fixed and mobile thermal printer market and has expertise in media applications.

Independent Software Vendor (ISV) - Product software developers with solutions designed to work with and within Intermec hardware. An Intermec ISV Partner may market and sell their own internally-developed software product separately from Intermec hardware. This special designation provides Intermec end user customers with greater confidence that an ISV’s software has been developed for and is compatible with Intermec’s mobile computing and printing products.

PartnerNet Program Training Webinar

Please join us for one of two repeated webinars (March 4th or March 12th) where we'll review highlights of the recently announced PartnerNet Program and demonstrate our new PartnerNet Portal. The demonstration will focus on a walk-through of the Project Registration process. Following the presentation, we'll have time for Q&A.

Training and Accreditation for PartnerNet Members

To ensure the best standards of implementation and support is provided by Intermec partners serving industry and commerce with solutions in auto identification and data collection technology and to be part of the Intermec PartnerNet community, technical training on the relevant products is paramount to ensure reliable and robust solutions are provided to the end user.

The first confirmed technical (ICE) training dates for 2010 are now available:

  • 16th – 17th March – Mobile AIDC – Nijmegen, Netherlands
  • 18th – 19th March – Mobile AIDC – Nijmegen, Netherlands
  • 23rd – 25th March – In-Field – Düsseldorf, Germany
  • 29th – 31st March – RFID – Reading, UK
  • 13th – 16th April – In-Premise – Nijmegen, Netherlands
  • 20th – 22nd April – In-Field - Reading, UK
  • 21st – 22nd April – Mobile AIDC - Düsseldorf, Germany

Please ensure that you register your engineers onto these courses to fulfill the training requirements for Platinum and Gold Members.
