The Marketpoint Data Cleaning/Standardisation process is designed to combat the inevitable day-to-day 'creep' that occurs with multiple users updating the same database.

The initial data audit process will not correct incorrectly spelt addresses, or add elements of the address. However it will combat a lot of the basic issues with regards to the format of the address and elements of the addresses which have become misplaced. Duplicates at all three levels (Company, Address & Contact) are also flagged up for correction.
